What happens when Windows XP is used for a Shopping Centre Kiosk instead of Linux

This is what happens when a Shopping Centre store directory Computer crashes… It was fun moving the mouse around the screen with my finger!

These machines have only been in for a few weeks, so it looks like they have a few kinks to iorn out! That said, the actual touch screen plasmas are awesome, and the onscreen presentation is first class.

Applications crash on Linux too, good try though

for Tyrax,
applications may crash in linux, but they generally don’t go about taking down the whole machine (this is a fatal flaw in any windows flavor, including NT).

I should know, I have certs that make an MCSE look like a stupid flea market sales ticket.
